El Arte de Fildear (Los Jardines)

Ok gente, esta vez estoy aquí para hablar de la posición que he jugado toda mi vida ... "el Out-Field"
Mucha gente piensa que el OutField es la posición más fastidiosa en el béisbol sólo porque está lejos el home plate, o cualquier otra razón que den, estoy en total desacuerdo!
Se requiere el más alto nivel de forma física, concentración y determinación, pues el área a cubrir es muy amplia..
Y ahí es donde la diversión se encuentra mi amigo; Algunas personas no saben lo emocionante que puede ser correrle diagonalmente a una linea bateada al callejon entre dos outfielders y atraparla casi en la cerca. O correr hacia adelante a buescar un fly corto y atraparlo un segundo antes de que toque el suelo, o esos  flyballs que permanecen durante años en el aire, pero aún asi desafían tu alcance y velocidad ... Sí desafío parece ser la palabra clave, es la que define el trabajo de un jardinero. Al igual que los momentos en que hay que atacar un rolling, porque hay un corredor en segunda, que pondrá a prueba tu brazo, aceptas el reto, y sueltas completo hacia el home.
  
El instinto, es otra característica importante ...
Un buen jardinero puede calcular la distancia y la dirección de la pelota, por el golpe del bate ... no sólo por el sonido, sino por la forma en que salta de la madera. Ese instinto es muy importante, porque con él, incluso los jugadores que no son tan rápido puede llegar a algunos flies con relativa facilidad ...

Jardinero izquierdo:
Las líneas o flyballs van girando hacia su mano derecha la mayoría de las veces, por lo general, cuando tiene que correr hacia atrás a fildear una pelota sobre su cabeza, voltea su hombro izquierdo hacia el home plate y corre hacia atras por la pelota
 
El jardinero central:
Este tipo es el jefe de la el OF, lo que el dice, los otros dos lo hacen, él es el más rápido, y el de mayor alcance, esa es la posición que mas disfruto en el béisbol, si me preguntan


Jardinero derecho:
Las líneas o flyballs van girando hacia su mano izquierda la mayoría de las veces, por lo general, cuando tiene que correr hacia atrás a fildear una pelota sobre su cabeza, voltea su hombro derecho hacia el home plate y corre hacia atras por la pelota

El RF es conocido por tener el brazo más poderoso del OF, Pues los tiros a la 3ra almohadilla son bastante largos, sin mencionar los lanzamientos al plato.

The Art of Fielding (Out-Field)

Ok people, this time i’m here to talk about the position I have played my whole life… “The Out Field”
A lot of people think that the Out Field is the most boring position in baseball just because it’s too far away from the home plate, or whatever other reason they give, I strongly disagree!
It requires the highest level of athleticism, concentration and determination, for the area to cover is very wide over there.
And there is where the fun lies my friend; Some people don’t know how exciting can be to run diagonaly after a line driven to the gap between two outfielders and catching it almost at the wall. Or how thrilling it can be to run forward towards a shallow flyball to catch it one second before it touches the ground; Or those flyballs that stay for ages in the air but still challenge your range and speed… Yeah challenge seems to be the keyword, it’s what defines the work of an outfielder. Just like those times when you have to run forward to get a grounder because there’s a runner on second who will test your arm strength, you accept the challenge, and throw your arm off to the plate…
Instinct, is another important feature…
A good Outfielder can tell the distance and direction the ball will go just by the crack of the bat… not only because of the sound, but because of the way it jumps from the lumber. That instict is extremely important, because with it, even players that aren’t that fast can reach some flyballs with relative ease…
Left Fielder:
Lines or flyballs hit in his direction are spinning to his right hand most of the times, so usually when he has to run backwards to field a ball over his head, he points his left shoulder to the home plate and and goes back for the ball.
Center FIelder:
This guy is the chief of the OF, whatever he says the other two obey, he is the fastest, and the one with best range, that’s the most enjoyable position in baseball if you ask me.
Right Fielder:
Lines or flyballs hit in his direction are most of the times spinning to his left hand, so when he has to run backwards to field a ball over his head, he points his right shoulder to the home plate, and goes back for the ball.
The RF is known for having most powerful arm of the OF, for the throws to 3rd are very long, not to mention the throws to the plate.

Just a comment (Ubaldo-Tulo)

Yesterday there was a brawl between the Colorado Rockies and the Cleveland Indians, where only one player was punished by the League, and that player is Dominican Pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez.
Usually when things like this happen both the batter and the pitcher get the punishment, in this case, Tulowitzki “just said a few words”, but Jimenez not only drilled him but also went after him which got the benches cleared. i think thats the reason Tulowitzki got the free pass from the Commissioner.
Stuff like this happens all the time in baseball,.it’s the thrill of competition, it’s baseball…
